| Who would have ever thought that this little forum would reach 2000 members? How exciting! I love the support that is given here and the incredible friendships that are made. I am still in contact with many of the original folks from the forum and I'm telling you that you will make memories and friendships that you will have forever! Thanks for joining us in our ever growing family. _________________ Denise

| Thank you everyone for all your efforts and posting. I am one of those new members. First I did not know if I wanted to do the hCG protocol. A friend told me about it. So I Googled and found this forum. I "lurked" for a while, then asked a lot of questions, and am now "on the slide." beautifuldisaster wrote: | Quote: | And my GOSH there have been so many new members lately I just can't keep up anymore!!!! I know what you mean. Since I am new, I feel a responsibility to support the newbies, because you all supported me when I was new (just a few weeks ago). But I want and need to spend time reviewing the older posts for more insight into what has been working and the challenges along the way.
So thank you to the moderators, to the person who set up this forum, I guess that would be Denise, and thank you to all my fellow hCG'ers who have or will post on this forum. You are a life saver for many who are at the ends of their ropes and just cannot deal with another diet where a "strictly adhering participant" loses, if they are lucky ... maybe a pound a week. Where in those groups they cheer if you lose anything each week ... 1/2 pound - cheer. Do you know how long it would take to lose 35, 50 or 100 or more pounds on that kind of program? Of course you do, that's one of the reasons we are all here. Yes this protocol is austere, but the results are awesome.
Thanks to all who have gone before!
Keep up the good work AND keep the weight off!!!

| I completely agree with everything that's already been posted/said! I LOVE THIS FORUM and the support it gave me as a newbie when I was unsure and scared, but willing! I have bonded with folks I've gotten to share this journey with..and I'm so appreciative of them!!! It's made all the difference! There certainly has been alot of newbies..so many that I too just can't make it around to get to know them too. I wish I had the time! Thank you Harmony and fellow MODERATORS for keeping this place for us to succeed! _________________

| Gooooo-oo-oo-leeee! Look what you all went and did while I was busy away from here! 2000 Members. *shakes head* I knew it was gettin hard to keep up with everybody when I disappeared around October. SO NOW... there are plenty of folks to share the wisdom, but really we ought to thank poor old dead, sometimes maligned Dr. Simeons who brought us all together.. and THINNER forever, to boot! I miss you guys, so I'll try to check in more often now that I'm out of school for summer (longer???:):). Smitty... What in the world are you doin? Galavanting all over the place. (I'm jealous:):) Denise... How's it going? Well 2000, I see! Where's my two 'chocolate buddies'?? How are y'all? Time for a couple more of those giant turtles. Mmmmm!!! Bless you all. Cher |

| Hey Cher---hi from your chocolate buddy. I put a reply for you on your how i maintained it section but glad you doing so well. You and I had so mmuch in common on issues and our belief of you have to do the proto exact to expect the results he states you'll get. Glad the maintaining has gone so well for you. I'm doing a short round right now and almost done and want to do another in sept. Each time I get to what I thought would be a goal I seem to want to go "just a little more". I remember when so many of us were the original from the first forum that went down and we all seemed to just bond so easily. It has grown so much with so many newbies. I'm so glad the word has spread and it has stayed a "family oriented" site. GT ps---I just ran 720 turtles for an order!! _________________ GT gram Original Starting Weight 226.6Current weight 163.8 lb. goal by end of feb '10 159.8 Jesus Christ Saves Sinners |
