175 vs 200

hello everybody! i need help...my daughter and i are on our last couple of days before mixing a new batch. we have had 4 weeks of 200 IU's. my weight loss is very slow and hers is more than mine, yet still going down. i noticed that when we were on our periods, yes both at the same time, and were not taking the injections both of our weights seemed to come down more than they previously had. apparently the hcg was weening itself out of our systems. i not once felt hungry either. so, now that the end of this batch is here i am curious as to what some other opinions are in regards to lowering our dose down to 175...i would greatly appreciate any and all comments. i pre measure out all of our syringes so even if i wanted to bump it back to the 200 it would be difficult to say the least. help!

Are you mixing with 1,500 IU ampules or 5,000 IU ampules? If it is the 1,500, it should only last you (one person) a week so you could go ahead and try the lower dose for a week and see how you are doing. If it is the 5,000 you could share with your daughter if she too wants to try the lower dose. It would make enough solution to last you both for two weeks, so you'd both have to be prepared to complete two weeks at the lesser dose.

i am mixing with the 5000. that is what i thought as well...what a dilemna!

...unless of course i only mix and leave it in the vial...i read somewhere and of course can not find it again, that if you mix at 200 drawing out at 1cc then if you drew out less it would decrease it to 175? does this sound right? i need all the help i can get!

Ladonna, you really shouldn't be preloading your syringes. Plastic is great for storing the sterile water, but not a solution of meds. It should be left in the glass vial to keep it as potent as possible. If it is left in the vial, you can change dosages whenever you decide to.

I assume you are mixing your 5000 IUs with 25cc of water for 200 IUs per dose? If you mix for 200 IUs and decide to try out 175 IUs per dose you would need to be quite exact with drawing it out. At 1cc per 200 IUs, .5cc would be 100 and .75cc would be 150 IUs. So you would have to carefully pull the plunger right between that .75 and 1 mark.

I would still mix for 200 and draw for 175, or even 150 IUs. Doing that it will be easy to tweek as you see your results hopefully change for the better :sunny: cheering
