Hi cnick! Yep, that needle will be perfect, that's what I use too, the smaller the better is what I say!! To mix 1500 iu's to inject 175 iu's. Take 1500 and divide by 175 that gives you the number of injections you will get with that one ampule. Which comes to 8.50 (approximately) then you multiply the number of injections (8.5) by the amount of liquid you want. I always recommend about .20 or .25 at the most. So 8.5 times .2 equals 1.7 cc's. So you will take 1.7 cc's of plain bacteriostatic water and mix a little bit of that in the ampule with the hcg powder in it, inject the rest into your sterile vial which will hold your mixed hcg. Gently swirl the powder and the little bit of water around till mixed. Then draw up with your mixing syringe and inject this into the sterile vial with the water you just put in it. Gently swirl to mix it all together. You now have 8.5 injections at 175 iu's using .2 cc's each injection. You can adjust the math according to how much you want to draw up in each injection. I also usually mix two 1500 iu ampules at a time. I also like grammasmitty's recommendation to mix for 200 iu's and then just adjust the amount you inject. So what I mean by this is take 2 1500 iu ampules. Divide this by 200 (dosage) which gives you 15 injections then you multiply 15 times .20 which gives you 3 cc's of water to mix. Then once you have this you can inject only .15 and that would be 150 iu's or inject .175 and that would be 175 iu's. Nice and easy to adjust dosages this way!
