I am getting to where I am sick of beef, and not big on fish has anyone done non-fat cottage cheese like Dr. S says vegetarians can do. if so any negative effects? I want to try it but weight at this point is slow coming off so I don't want to mess myself up.

thanks!

Yes, I've used fat free cottage cheese with no problems. It sure makes for a nice change of pace! Have you tried using eggs? 1 whole egg and a couple of whites can be scrambled up or "fried" (of course no oils/fats).

I was also a slow looser,(so I didnt get any slower) but did cottage cheese 1/week since meat just gets to me after so long. Also, I'm not a fish person but I could do tuna. I bought organic tuna on sale (packed in water) and would put a great s/f organic mustard. The name is "stadium mustard", actually that is the brand name. Its great and I would just squirt some on my canned tuna and it was a nice change of pace. I could not do the egg thing since it was mostly egg whites. I'm one that would throw away the white and just eat the yolk so that was out for me.
LOL

I actually have gone out for breakfast 2 times on this and on those days had the best weight loss the following day. We went to Coco's and I got their egg white basil and feta omlette, no feta, it has fresh basil a little onion and tomatoe, and I get a side of tomatos and they always give me to thin slices of orange, I get my muffin to go for the kids. It has made me feel good to go do that with friends. And I had great results both times.

I guess I could do it at home!! it just tastes better when someone else does it!
