| From the last injection day, do we continue for three days and begin Phase 3 on the fourth day. Or do we continue for two days and start Phase 3 on the third day?
Linda, I think you commented on this, but I just want to be sure since I'm closing in on my last injection for this round.
So, for illustration purposes:
If Friday is my last injection, do I start Phase 3 on Sunday or Monday? I just don't want to screw anything up.
Thanks in advance! _________________ Caroline Started Phase 2 on 9/8/07 Total inches lost so far: 27.25

| | From what i remember it is 3 days after your last inj day. If Friday is your last inj then Tuesday you would start P3. You would have Sat, Sun, and Mon as your 3 days. |

| Per Dr. Simeons Protocol:
Plan of a Normal Course
After 3rd injection, 500 Calorie diet to be continued until 72 hours after the last injection.
For the following 3 weeks, all foods allowed except starch and sugar in any form (careful with very sweet fruit). _________________ Started Phase 2: 9/28/07 Injection 1 (Gorge)

| Ok. Idiotic question I'm sure, but is bread considered a starch? I know pastas and corn are startches, but not sure about breads. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wMa6TqQ/]

| | I thought 3 days after last inj day but it must have been after the actual inj. Sorry about that. I bet you are excited about P3. |

| Thanks everybody! I really appreciate your input. I took my last injection this morning and will count 1, 2, 3 starting today which will bring me to Sunday morning…. 72 hours from this morning. I couldn’t do a full dose because it was the end of the vial when you’re tipping and rolling and manipulating to every stinkin’ drop out. Probably was about 100 IU, but I’m not worried since Benz, GT, and others have said they did their three days after the last injection day and weren’t hungry.
Pandi, you are sooooo right I’m sure. I am so looking forward to Phase 3. Will post more in my journal, but the tedium of the food has taken a toll. I plan to use Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet for Phase 2 of this. South Beach also has no starch or sugar in its Phase 1. I’ll let everyone know how it goes.
Karalynn, sadly yes, bread is a starch. Whole grains have more fiber to slow down their conversion into glucose, but they’re still forbidden in Phase 2. South Beach, which I have never been on, actually has some very good explanations on insulin resistance, carbohydrates, etc. Someone mentioned it to use some of the recipes for HCG Phase 2. Marshall’s had it for like $5, so I picked up a copy. Good recipes, but also good information that I may try to integrate in future rounds of HCG.
I’ll post more later in my journal. Thanks again guys! _________________ Caroline Started Phase 2 on 9/8/07 Total inches lost so far: 27.25

| It figures bread would be a starch. I'm so looking forward to having an honest to goodness cheeseburger, and some Mac and Cheese, but I guess that will have to wait until the end of november, because I'm sure Pasta is on the list of forbidden items also. :( Along with a baked potato.
Alas, I will be able to have some buffalo chicken wings though :D _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wMa6TqQ/]
