I have 10K iu's of hcg per ampule.. I only do .2 cc(200 iu's) per injection.

| No, but as long as you know how many cc's there are, you can do the math and use it. Measure it into a syringe and we can go from there. _________________

| :sunny: Cher, I use the "solvent" (sterile water) that comes with the hCG, though when I went from 1500 iu ampoules to 5000 iu ampoules I began to use 2 solvent per mix. I imagine it would have been okay to just use 1 solvent, but I liked the idea of more liquid/more dilution to allow the hCG to spread out! (doubt that it does, but my mind is a little wooley sometimes!)
I spoke with a wonderful local Pharmacist (he thanked me "for calling with a math problem for him to solve," 'cos to him "math is a game!") who gave me the equation to use, but I have misplaced it ~ as soon as I find it I'll post it.

| What I ended up doing:
Sucking out the air in my rubber capped bottle w/10cc syringe;
Injected the 2cc of saline/sterile solution in the plastic vial that came with my hcg, INTO the powder hcg vial, THEN;
Added 8 cc's of my own filtered/boiled/sterile water (pulled into needle and syringe Through cotton) INTO the rubber capped bottle with the other two cc's for a total of Ten cc's of hcg solution/liquid. TA Da...THEN..
Daily, I withdraw .175 cc (175 iu's) and inject.
I call this Hcg mixing made Easy!!:):)
I WILL say, however.. (I'm guessing it's because of the 'saline' part)..I'm feeling a tiny 'sting' upon injection some days. Not painful, just NOTICABLE. _________________ CLICK HERE For My P2R6 Stats!

| What would be the difference between the saline solution that comes with the hcg compared to ordering the other water (forget what it is called) seperatly? _________________ Eva completed part of phase 2 in January lowest weight 159 lbs failed terribly Starting all over again

| I'm getting ready to mix my 1st batch - is a cc the same as a ml?
I have 1500 IU ampules that will give me 7.5 injections (200 IUs each).
When mixing the 1500 IU ampule, the instructions I've seen on this forum (thanks Grammy!) tell you to use 3.75 cc of water. Are the lines on the IM and/or insulin needles in CCs? I purchased the sterile water that is in MLs and wanted to know the conversion rate between CCs and MLs.
Thanks for your help!  |

| You are welcome! 1cc = 1ml
It is easier to mix and measure injections if you do 2 ampoules of 1500 at a time. You mix only 3 times per round and also save on vials that way, too. If you are mixing for 200 IU doses and using .5cc water per injection, that makes it an "even" 7.5cc water for an even 15 doses in the vial. _________________

| Oh gawd, I'm mathematically challenged.
I just received my hcg today (YAY! :clap: ) and have 2 ampules of 5000 IU and 2 bottles of solvent. I have specific questions which I'll save for now. I'm pretty sure I'm ready to go on Friday (1st timer) but don't know how to mix.
I'll be back.
Love, ~Christine |

| Christine, do you have all your mixing supplies? The large syringes/needles, bacteriostatic water, sterile sealed glass vials?
The tiny bit of water that comes with the hcg ampoules is not enough to mix for the small doses we use. They are more for the high doses used in infertility treatments. So, don't use them. It isn't good to mix solvents, so just toss them or put them away in a cupboard. Use your bac water for mixing. _________________
