| | I have a wedding this coming sunday and i'm not sure how to handle it. I cannot just sit there not eating a bite. People will ask questions and i am not ready to talk about this with anyone. I lost 16 pounds so far and i don't want to screw that up. I am thinking of just making up an excuse and not going but i know my friend will be offended. Help! thanks Vickie |

| It is not worth hurting your friend's feelings. Best thing to do, I would think, is to go, decline whatever has sugar, flour, whatever, and just tell people you are watching your caloric intake. Chances are, you can go, nibble on veggies or whatever is available, even take some in your purse if you need to, and enjoy yourself. Everyone's attention will be on the bride because it is her day. Good luck in whatever you decide! _________________

| You could also just say that your stomach was a little upset and leave it at that. Toni _________________ Toni Phase 2 Started 9/10/07 Phase 2: down 24.5 lbs Phase 3 Started 10/30/07 Round 2 Phase 2 11/22/07

| My husbands class reunion was this past weekend and they served dinner so I was in the same position...of course, everyone asked and wondered why I wasn't eating...I simply said that I wasn't sure what the menu was going to be like so I ate right before we came...nobody said anything else after that! _________________

| Good response! Who can argue or question if you've already eaten? _________________
