| How is the heacdache thing going? 
:P Keep me posted on teh amounf of IU you are taing as i am using GHI as well. Today will be my first low cal day, and I also struggle with heachaches, so I am curious if you wil have to lower the IU, or if that will help.

| Don't know who it was one of the Yahoo boards. Forgive me if you're on this board to and I don't know who you are.... :D but she said that she had corresponded with the doctor in Argentina by email (the one who I think developed the oral form) and he said that when he was using injections he never injected more than 125IU per dose. So, to me, he's a present day doctor working, researching, and treating in this stuff. I'm probably going to go with 125IU IM. If I feel funky, I'll reevaluate.
We all have to figure out what works for us since we're all different. :D |

| First of all, I was doing 250 iu's like ghi told me to. I read on message boards people were doing less and thought what the heck, can't hurt for one day. My hunger went WAY down, my naseousness went away and I felt the euphoria I hadn't yet experienced. I think each of our bodies is different and as long as we are getting somewhere between 125 to 250, then we are doing it right. If you feel good on 250, then don't stop. But if you were miserable like me, lower the dose for a day or two and see what happens.
As for the egg, yes when my tummy is upset I have one egg with 3 egg whites. Simeons okay'd it. |

| Awesome, happy2  .. I'm right behind you... Day 5 here.. headache oncoming Again.. so pft... I just reduced to 200 today... Hopefully it'll help.

| Thanks GTGram for your input! I agree that alot of
these companies are trying to tweak things to make it their own and in the long run the people suffer! Similar to what the government does to us!

| Just so you guys know an iu is a specific amount of only the hcg. that is what makes a chemist able to regulate a dosage for the medication. for example if you have 125iu of hcg and mix it with 1cc sterial water, you need 1cc of mixture to give you 125iu of hcg....the actual volume of liquid only depends on what was added to the original hcg, and for whatever reason some dilute the solution(add more water) but you would always get the same dosage of hcg....I hope this makes sense :soap box:

| I'm not sure what you are saying, peaceiskitten, but most of us are using the 1500 IU ampule or the 5,000 ampule and adding enough bacteriostatic water to the powder to make whatever dosage we want. I think there are some that may even have the 10,000 IU ampules.
For myself, I just divide the total that is in the ampule, 1500, by my desired dose, 200, which gives me how many doses I need, 7.5. Because I want to use .5 ml as my injection, not 1 full ml. I divide that by half. So I use 3.75 ml water in my solution.
Is that what you are saying?

I'm assuming (oops!) that the issue is in regard to the 'mixer'! Pharm. Sol. sent the one with the preservative, and I guess that adds a little more liquid to the mix.

the preservative doesn't give the injections more iu's.....iu's are what standardizes the dosage

Cher is talking about the little bottle of liquid that comes with the powdered hCG. She is taking it into consideration when deciding how much bacteriostatic water to the solution. Somewhere I read to throw away the vial of liquid because it doesn't mix well with the BW.
She is under a doctor's care and follows instruction from the clinic, so her instructions may be different. She's had great success with what she's been doing.
Most of the rest of us are constantly tweaking our dosage from one week to another, trying to find out what dose is right for us. Most of us mix weekly, so it is easy to do by increasing/decreasing the amount of BW we add to the solution. I don't think there is anyone that has been here for a length of time that is confused about how many IUs they are taking. I *think* you may be misunderstanding what she is trying to say.

| I am using the hcg from GHI as well. I'm wondering if any of you let it warm up to room temp before injecting? My DH says it shouldn't matter. I'm only on day 7 of the injections, I've lost 5 lbs so far so it seems he may be right but wanted to ask what everyone else was doing. Thanks!

| HA! Let DH personally try the difference between icy cold and body/room temp injections and then say that  I always know the difference! And it isn't in my head, it's in my SKINMUSCLE :lol 3:
