 | Subject: How to mix the 2000IU? Thu Feb 28 2008, 12:28 | |
| Hi, Im a newbie and I am still waiting for my delivery from DD.ca. My tracking said it arrived in Phoenix but not to my mailbox yet. I have been reading so many of the posts for a couple weeks (time permitting) and I just read about using less water to mix, therefore less to inject. Can someone please let me know how to mix the 2000IU with less water and then how much I would actually inject. I will be doing IM.
Thanks |

| Do you want 200IU injections, 175IU injections, 150IU injections or some other amount. Let us know exactly the amount you want each injection to be. Then we can tell you how much water to mix it with. _________________

| | I was thinking 125iu since that is what Dr S. said to do. Why is everyone doing the higher doses? If I mix at the 125iu is it easier to go up to 150 or is it easier to mix at 150 and use less? Thanks |

| 2000IU of hCG divided by 125IU shots equals 16 doses at 1 ml/cc. So you will need 16 ml/cc of bac water. If you do .5 ml/cc then you only need 8 ml/cc bac water. So the formula is 2000/X (where X is the strength of the shots you want)= amount of doses and therefore bac water you need. So if you did 200 IU shots, you would need 10 ml/cc bac water for 1 ml/cc shots or 5 ml/cc bac water for .5 ml/cc shots. People are doing the higher doses because they are following the recommendation of Kevin Trudeau. Others follow Dr. S Iu regimen and use 125IU. And still others do a hybrid. And one that has been spoken of only does 100 IU shots. I do 166.67 IU shots because that is easy for me. It takes all the bac water that comes, I don't have to be so carefule about how much water I use. I just use it all. I had been doing 1 ml/cc shots but have on this round decided to do .5 ml/cc shots. Does that make sense? So use 1 ml/cc bac water to mix up with your hCg and then put it into the sealed vial. Then fill the sealed vial with the remaining amount of water to get to the strngth that you desire. So if you were doing 125 IU shots and only wanted to inject .5 ml/cc per injection. You would need 8 ml/cc total water. You take 1 ml/cc of water and mix it with the hCG and put it into the sealed vial. Then you take 7 ml/cc of straight bac water and put it into the sealed vial. And viola you have 8- .5 ml/cc of 125IU hCG. Hope this helps. _________________

| | Thanks, that did help. The other part I don't understand is the taking the air and putting it back in. I really am having trouble with that. Can you possibly explain that? You have a clearer way of putting things. Thanks in advance. |

| You fill the syringe up with the amount of air that euqls the amount of water that you are going to pull out. The Bac water and the sealed vials need to maintain equilibrium or it will creat a vacuum- remember they are sealed, or it will get harder and harder to draw the water out. You have to do it manually because they are sealed and can't equalize on their own. Kind of like when a bottle with air is placed upside down ina tub full of water. The waster traps the air in. Well in this case, the sealed tops traps the inside of the bottle. And as you draw out the Bac water you need to fill that space with air. And when you put the water into the sealed vial, you have to take some air out. It is an manual equalization thing. Just a little physics!! _________________

| You can figure out your numbers using this formula:
IUs per ampoule / IUs per dose = doses per ampoule
THEN
doses per ampoule * cc per injection = water for mixing
I have 5000 IU ampoules, take 200 IUs per dose and use .2cc water per injection so here are how my numbers plug into the formula
5000 / 200 = 25 doses per ampoule
25 doses * .2cc = 5cc total water for mixing with my 5000 IU ampoule
Just decide what numbers you want to plug in (your ampoule size, your daily dose, how large you want your injections), and voila! There you have it all! _________________
