| I'm new to this and hate the IM injections........I'm such a chicken. I did an IM this morning into my upper arm and didn't so very deep and now I have kind of a warm hard spot which I think the Hcg is just sitting there??? If that's possible..........what can I do??

| Just massage the spot and then maybe you should switch to subQ injections...they are a lot less intimidating _________________ Denise |

| You probably bruised it a bit. You could try putting ice on it too. I personally prefer sub-cutaneous into the belly fat or on my hip. It is much "kinder" and "gentler"!!
By the way, to our group. Start a journal and tell us about yourself and what your goals are. We'd love to get to know you and watch your progress! |

| Thanks for the help. I was a little worried about it. I've been reading alot about people using the diabetic syringes and I think I am going to try to get my hands on some of those since I'm on my 11th injection and still very nervous every morning.

| | Yep, I use the insulin syringes, they're the best in my opinion. Sam's Club sells a box of 100 for $11 something. Just go in and tell them you need a box of insulin syringes 29 or 30 gauge , half cc (.50) and half inch needle. They don't ask if you are diabetic. |

| Also, how much do you draw in your syringe for your injection? If you mixed for 1cc injections, you will need to just get through this batch of hcg until you can mix again. I typically mix 1cc for every 1000 IUs (5cc/5000 IUs) and draw just 0.2cc for a 200 IU dosage. It is so easy to adjust dosages with this recipe:
250 IU = 25 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.25cc
225 IU = 22.5 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.225 cc
200 IU = 20 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.2cc
175 IU = 17.5 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.175 cc
150 IU = 15 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.15 cc
125 IU = 12.5 units (on insulin syringe) = 0.125 cc _________________
