| | hi all. I took grammasmiitys advice and took some time off from the diet. I wanted to start it again this weekend but guess what showed up? and a week early at that. Anyway i have really eaten like crazy and just feel sort of down. I haven't weighted myself but i'm scared to death to do it. I guess i will start when tom is over. just wanted to share my feelings and i hope everyone is doing well --- love vickie |

| Sorry to hear your best laid plans got interrupted!! Don't feel bad, there are several us with the dreaded TOM!! Just reign yourself in....take a deep breath.....reset your game plan and be READY to GO when the time is right. Don't be afraid of the scales. I know I was. Funny how you begin to look forward to weighing in each morning and feel cheated when you can't.....like when your scale battery goes out!!! Hope today is better for you :sunny: . _________________

| Boy, I can sure relate to being scared of the scale! I'm on my 4th day of P3, and I'm just on the edge of being 2 lbs over LIW, and am interested in seeing what I weigh, but also have a lot of angst about it!
Can you tell me how you did your break? Next time I'm on P2, I don't anticipate needing to take a break, but after doing P2 over the holidays and through traveling, I think it'd be helpful to understand how to take a break properly in case I really need to plan one. _________________ Shana Round 1:

| Don't be afraid of the scales. You are where you are and the scales just give you a number. If it is up, so what? You will have it back down in no time at all. This break was just that. A time to regroup and get ready to start again and be successful all the way around. No one is going to think twice about it if you went up a bit . . . except you :wink 4: And YOU are doing fine. Get your mind set going again, and jump in when you are ready to SLIDE!!!  _________________
