I'm a newbie here (planning to start 1 March), so forgive me if this has been brought up before. I checked the thread and didn't see anything....
My pharmacist and I were talking about the mixing, and we both came to the same conclusion: Make the solution stronger and inject less at a time.
For example, the 200iU dosage mixing instructions indicate mixing 25 ml bac water to 5,000 iU hcg to make 1 ml/100cc injections of 200 iUs.
For the 10,000 iU hcg vial, that would mean adding 50 ml bac water to make 50 injections of 1 ml/100cc each of 200 iUs.
Here's where we thought of deviating:
Make it 5 times stronger, and inject 1/5th the amount.
Do this by mixing the 10,000 iU vial with the 10 ml of bac water that came with the hcg. That will provide a total of 50 injections of 0.2 ml/20ccs of 200 iUs.
Is there any reason for injecting 1 ml at a time over injecting a smaller amount, or is it purely personal preference? |

| It is just a matter of personal preference. There are some that inject .2cc up to 1cc of varying strength solutions. So just make sure to do the math properly and you are good to hook!!! _________________

| | I agree with you wholeheartedly!! I can't understand why you would want to mix it with so much water. I only use .20 and it is a much easier injection with far less bruising than when I tried injecting a half cc. Some people are actually injecting 1 whole cc! Arghh, that's got to be hard to inject that much... You definitely have got the right idea. There are a number of us that use this amount and we are happy campers! |
