| My husband says my breath is different, not bad, just different. I know if you do the protein diets you can check your urine for ketones, that when the fat is used you get ketones, so I am going to check my urine, as we are not eating any carbs?
Anyone else have different breath?

| Yep, I just checked, I do have ketones, and that would account for the different breath.

| I've been testing for ketones too and mine have been in the "moderate" range for a while now. But I hadn't thought about my breath. I know when I was doing Atkins it was not cool....I'll have to keep and eye on that!!

| I also checked my ketones on P2 and was always in the moderate area. Besides the fruits there aren't many carbs on the VLCD. I also have been checking on P3 and I am still releasing ketones... Haven't noticed a change in my breath either, but I'm the last one to know what it smells like... :lol 3:
