| I am sure I know the official answer, but is anyone chewing gum anyway? I miss it! It's always been such a great appetite suppressant for me. _________________

| Yes...my hubby does and Leslies hubby lives on it (he lost 60 pounds in his first round). We found gum called Steviadent...so it is sweetened with Stevia and is definitely okay for the protocol. _________________ Denise |

| I have seen a link to order them over the internet. I am sure google with pop it up. And maybe your local natural food store or Whole Foods will also have it in stock or be able to special order it for you. _________________

| And the sugarless gum isn't good for you anyway. At least the stevia is a healthy product. _________________

| I called my local places, and nobody seems to have anything like it. I guess I could order it online... _________________

| Just be aware that this gum is rather pricey....I went on-line to order since I'm a chronic gum chewer, too.....and when I placed an order for 5 pkg it came to almost $40 w/shipping ....guess I'll start chewing my fingernails . _________________

| I am also a chronic gum chewer, so I did some investigating of my own. There is a product caled Xylichew, sugar free chewing gum, sweetened with xylitol. Two pieces have 3.8 calories and 1.6 carbs. I found it on amazon.com and it sent me to another site to order. It's really good. Peppermint is good but Cinnamon is really yummy. I also ordered Ricochet Sours! which are made by Emerald Forest. They, too, are sweetened with Xylitol. Each piece has 1 calories, and there are 100 pieces in a tin. They gluten-free, dairy free, casein free, and 100 percent vegan. I wouldn't go overboard and eat the whole tin, but they are nice when you just need a little somethin' somethin'. :wink 4: Hope this helps! Michelle _________________
