| I have taken prilosec for a long time for heartburn...I get it so bad and have for years, I can't go a day without it. Anyone taking it on the protocol? I have stopped and this is my second day without it. I just know it stops the digestive process, so I am going to try and tough it out. Hopefully this protocol will help it. _________________ "God knows what you can do, he just wants to see what you will do."

| My hubby practically lives on antiacids. But while on the VLCD he never needs anything. Go to your local whole foods or health food store and get some good enzymes and probiotics. Those will help you with any digestive troubles you may have. I take them all the time and never have trouble, either on or off the diet. _________________

| Oh, okay. Yesterday (gorge) day I suffered a bit, but today, so far, I haven't. I just ate lunch, and I am full. So far so good. Kelly _________________ "God knows what you can do, he just wants to see what you will do."

| | Hi Kelly, I never have problems with heartburn while on protocol but I have it all the time off of protocol. If you do have problems, try using Apple Cider Vinegar, it helps a lot. |

| | Yes I am all for the Organic Apple cider vinager. I take it after or before meal if I remember. About 1 to 2 tablespoons really does the trick. Tryed the over counter pills once rolaids they where a disapointment the cider works better and faster. DONNA |

| Actually, the vinegar is making it worse, I about died today. I absolutely can't take it, I suffer dearly. I want to take the prilosec, but it stops the digestion. I'll try the enzymes, I guess. _________________ "God knows what you can do, he just wants to see what you will do."

| | Kelly, Definitely take the enzymes and probiotics. Cut out the ACV for a little while. You are probably just too acidic right now. The enzymes should really help. Try to eat as many raw vegetables as you are allowed. |
