| Ha! We know you've been busy. HOpe you can find more time to visit us soon I don't think your sis needs to worry about changing anything onthe protocol. But I sure wouldn't advise to quit meds either. Just watch how BP does, how weight loss goes and make any adjustments along the way as needed. Does her doc know about the diet? _________________

| | Hi Cher, I agree with grammasmitty, she should continue with her bp medication but she should also monitor her bp. My bp dropped 35 points during my first round! If hers drops and she's still on medication it could conceivably drop too low at which point her doctor will be able to drop the dosage of her medication and/or stop it. The important thing is to monitor it and if it starts getting much lower than usual she should make an appt. to see her doctor, explain that she's on a diet and it seems to be helping with lowering her bp and was hoping the doctor would help her to eliminate her need for the medications... |
