Hello~

I have been reading and have a question for you all....I have a hard time paying the price for regular apples and grapefruit, I just can't imagine paying for the organic ones.

Here is my question....

How many of you honestly eat just the organic ones?? Do you mix organic and regulars and still do good with the weight loss? How many of you can only afford the regular ones and still loss weight?

Thank you for your answers... fairy kiss

Wendy

Since moving from Houston this year, I have not found a good source of organic tomatos, and cucumbers.. which I mostly use during P2.

So.. I'm just waitin' for mine to grow, and suffering through what I can get. I use regular and organic. Frankly, I'm getting a little sick of the high prices and the crappy taste.. so.. I've started getting 'normal' ones.

Hope that helps. (I miss Whole Foods Market) Guess I'll have to drive to Dallas, but at $4 a gallon.. ho hum... guess I'll go water my tomatos!

I tried to pay for all organic on my first round...but after a while I just couldn't do it. My husband started with me on my second round, so we did a little of both...

You will still have success with 'normal' fruit...lots of people have not eaten any organics and had great success

Thank you...I was hoping that was the case. I have my own garden going for the veggies but it will be a little bit before they are ready.
The way prices are going I am going to get good at walking! Oh, oopps! Not much live over 5 miles from the smallest of 'getta' stores, (high prices), and over 10 miles from town...This is the only thing that I don't like with living in the country. :)

Wendy:

My rule of thumb is if I peel it then I don't buy organic. For example, I buy regular grapefruits and cucumbers but always buy organic apples. I buy organic cherry tomatoes or hydroponic tomatoes. There are a lot of web sites out there that tell you what are must haves for organics:

Lettuce
Tomatoes
Strawberries
Apples
Celery

Bell Peppers
Grapes
Peaches
Potatoes
Coffee
Milk
Beef
