RANDOM: Sprouts and Kombucha and Sparkling Peregrino?

Okay, it just crossed my mind. Anyone familiar with the compatibility of Alfalfa sprouts and OR Kombucha tea for this protocol?

I grow my own sprouts and brew my own Kombucha tea. So I don't know how well this would go for my Kombucha and sprouts.

Was also curious about sparkling water.

Hi RM, me again! lol! I think Alfafa sprouts would be perfectly aceptable and frankly you would have to eat a WHOLE lot of sprouts to affect the calories lol! Now, Kombucha on the other hand I'm not too sure about that. We had another member ask about that a while ago as she makes her own too and the only thing that I would hesitate with that is if I remember right you use sugar or honey to ferment it right? I'm not sure if that would hurt or not. Best thing I can tell you is to try it after you've been on the protocol at least 5 or 6 days and see if it affects the weight loss or not.

kind of like a trial and error thing then? How do you usually go by getting back on track after that? Just avoid what (if it did) food made you not lose? :) Anyone or do you know of the Sparkling mineral water?

Hi RM, Sorry, I thought I had mentioned the sparkling water in the last post but I guess I didn't. I have mineral water and seltzer water all the time. I often flavor it with rootbeer flavored stevia, it's delicious and good for you too. The only thing you need to watch for with seltzer or mineral waters is the amount of sodium. You don't want to add too much sodium because it could make you retain water.

As far as the trial and error question: the reason I said to be on the protocol at least 5 to 6 days before trying it is you will have a consistent weight loss by then. Usually between .5 and 1 pound per day. Once you are consistently losing, following the protocol exactly, then you can experiment one day with the Kombucha and see if your losses go down, if so, then it was probably the tea that caused it if all else was constant.
