| Maybe I should just make a thread titled: WHAT ABOUT THIS!? and just keep asking questions in that one thread about what I can or can't eat on this protocol and that will save on space on this board :p
Anyone know what the deal would be on dehydrated fruit?
I cut up 1 small apple and stuck it in my convection oven to dry but then I started wondering if I was doing something bad. . . anyone know about this?
trying to make apple crisp chips to have with chicken salad. . . _________________ RMDelete's P2 stats --- RMDelete's HCG Journal for R1P2

| I don't know if it would change the sugar at all. However, i know when you cook or heat fruits and veggies it does take out some of the nutrients. I don't really know if it would affect it or not. Maybe try fitday.com and look at apples. See if it has anything about dried apples verses raw apples. They usually have all kinds of info on sugars, cals, fat etc. You sure are "playing with your food" aren't you. You can come cook for me anytime. _________________

| | The sugar content of apples changes when they are cooked but many of the people have cooked apples with cinnamon and stevia and have had no problems with the weight losses. I would think the dehydrated ones wouldn't have more sugar content than a cooked apple so I'd say give it a try. But, I always tell people to not start experimenting until they have a pretty steady weight loss (at least 5 days on protocol). |
