I was wondering.. I know peppers are good thing but I was wondering if hot sauce is allowable during P2? just curious.

I hope it was because i used a ton of it. I made the chicken chili and it just wasn't the same without the hot sauce. My mom and i were like hot sauce junkies.laughter I also know hot foods are good to speed up your metabolism. The only thing is make sure you don't get one that has sugar in it. A lot of them have some kind of sugar. Enjoy!!!!

yay! I actually made myself a version of hotsauce that I figured may be fine. The reason I wanted to know was because I have some celery sticks and chicken and I thought it would be a fun idea to make some kind of boneless buffalo wing type recipe. I know we can have ACV and I read somewhere that chilies were ok. So I boiled some chilies in a bit of water and then added some ACV and then blended them and strained it... I wonder if it will taste ok :p thanks!

Oh also... I was so ecstatic that someone responded so fast that I read the response too quickly and for a second I thought you said "hot dogs are good to speed up metabolism" and I was like . . . !? !? !? hahaha I need to slooow down :)

LOL on the hot dogs.

Let us know how the hot sauce you made turns out. If its good you need to post it in P2 recipes. I think that is something that a lot of people would really enjoy.

I use Frank's hot sauce without any problem; it is 1 of 3 primary condiments I use on Phase 2 - the others being Bragg's and mustard.
