| Can we drink other teas besides grean, tea, oolong, and yerbamate? I like the chai tea and I was wondering if that would interfere with my weight loss? _________________

| Check the label out on the chai tea. Some of the chai's have calories and sometimes they have added sugar or sucralose. Avoid these but if there is no added sugar, no added sucralose or aspartame, then it's okay. I add cinammon or cloves sometimes to my regular tea to add a little flavor. |

| In Simeons manuscript he says you can drink coffee and tea as much as you like. He doesn't specify (not sure if green tea was readily available back them) what kind. I started out drinking green tea, but don't really love it. I was so exited after reading that I could drink "tea" that I switched to my favorite Lipton black tea, and have been guzzling ever since.
Iced Tea is my favorite drink in the world and am so happy I did not have to give it up. I drink at least 1/2 gallon per day.
Also, when I am on the go and start to get hungry, I love the fact that I can stop at Wendy's and order a large ice tea with lemon and Sweet-n-low, and it holds me for another hour or two.
I know, I can just hear the gasps of the thought of an "artificial sweetener" being used.
But .... In Simeons manuscript it specifically mentions Stevia and Sweet-N-Low as allowed on the protocol. Sweet-N-Low has been around forever, and if you look up the studies done on it .... quite amazing. They were able to take the warning off the Sweet-N-Low label that it causes cancer (bladder cancer) in lab rats ... because it would take the equivalent of consuming 2000 lbs to cause cancer in a human !!!! HHHHMMMMM Since I am so limited on my foods, I am not going to feel bad about using Sweet-N-Low when I am in a pinch. If it takes some to do the job, then so be it! |

| Flouride is a very scary substance. It is one of the main ingredients in rodent poison! Once in the body it is difficult to get out, just like metals. Naturally occruing flouride is different than the manufactured waste that we commonly see in our foods and beverages. The problem is, more and more we are finding that the content within foods (not added TO foods) is NOT naturally occuring flouride, but the artificial poison which has contaminated the soil our food is grown in. _________________

| I know!!! It is scary because so many parts of the world bought that flouride was good for teeth and bones, etc. and had put flouride into their water supply. Now all of that has seeped into the ground and is now in the foods we eat plus the water we drink. It is amazing tha the accumulated amounts in our diets and bodies exceed those recommended not by a little but by a whole bunch.
I think it is one of the by-products from large manufacturing of some other toxic substance and they needed a profitable way to get rid of it. And unbound flouride is now put into water all over the globe.
What is really scary is the effects on children. As we have continued to flouridate our water supply, it has really accumulated in our soils. It don't think that there is any area that babies and children aren't exposed to toxic levels of flouride. So much more than when we were children or our parents were as children. The neurological defects and the impaired brain functioning. It is truly firghtening. Oh and the cancers, that too. <she says sarcatically> I just wonder at the increased incidence of autism, asthma, childhood obesity, etc. I think flouride is in a long list of poisons that we expose our children to and the levels just keep increasing. _________________

| Anastasia, let me know which planet you decide to go to. I may join you. My husband and I used to joke that drinking water and breathing air is going to cause cancer someday...and here it is. It's tough to avoid EVERYTHING bad, because it seems everything is. I tend to get overly freaked out, so I'm trying to mellow and just the best that I can and still try to live a happy-ish life. But every time I look at my husband's flouridated toothpaste I wonder if he's going to be killing himself or protecting his teeth. Ugh...life. _________________ Tiffany

| I have been drinking Chai tea both hot and cold. I bought the loose tea bulk at a tea and coffee store in Little Rock. It looked really dry and clean, and so far I have been have good results on the weight loss. _________________
