| | I would like to take a poll to see who is currently taking medication/birthcontrol and have had success with the protocol or are currently losing with this plan? As well as over-the-counter supplements. I would like to continue to take my aloe vera supplement but am unsure. I can't imagne how much more damaging that could be vs. bc |

| I am taking Prozac, Zocor and Premarin. I lost 24.5 pound in 45 days. It was slow for me. Do you think it could be the meds??? _________________ Toni Phase 2 Started 9/10/07 Phase 2: down 24.5 lbs Phase 3 Started 10/30/07 Round 2 Phase 2 11/22/07

| Nah... I lost only .5 lb. per day on P2, and took NOTHING (and nothing for two weeks prior to beginning p2).. You're doin' good Tonilynm!
NOW.. P4.. I am taking Hydrocodone/Viccoden, maybe one daily, and an occasional (twice a week?) Celebrex.
UNfortunately.. all the old aches and pains returned after P2.. Can't wait to do it AGAIN!!:):) Wheee!! 23-40 Painless days!! _________________ CLICK HERE For My P2R6 Stats!

| On my second round I kept up with all my vitamin supplements ( about 19), took Clariten, used a lanolin based hand and body lotion, daily, used a bath oil, daily, wore makeup and used two facial moisturizers, daily, used conditioner on my hair and I lost the balance of my weight plus two more lbs. I don't think meds, oils on the body, lotions or potions cause less weight loss. I think it has to do with how often in the past one dieted, what you eat, how often and how much and your age and body composition. We are all different and will lose differently every time. The best thing one can do is to persevere and accept that maybe it will be harder for one than another. Good luck to you all! _________________

| I decided to continue with my Synthroid since I too take a higher dose 1.75 daily. I was afraid I would have all those ugly sysytems again if I just quit cold turkey.
I have also used conditioner for my hair, but sparingly and Skin so Soft when I absolutly had to. I use mostly mineral makeup, and I did color my hair!! Could I have lost more ?? maybe..but I have had good #'s so far and managed to live my life also. _________________

| I stopped everything except birth control and my loss was 22 pounds in 35 days.. :sad3: which is not too great, but i know its because i was eating alot of cottage cheese and egg whites and never really lost on those days.. (unfortunately i didn't realize this until i reviewed my home journal a few days before i was scheduled to finish :yell: ) Also about half way through i suffered a hypoglycemic attack and went n a sugar binge, which cost me several days!! Anyway i think i don't do well with dairy period. Other people have eaten both and had no ill effects. Ok i really went off on a tangent there LOL! _________________ Round 2 starts Feb. 1. 2008 CLICK HERE TO SEE PICS!

| Should I continue to take my birthcontrol?? A little concerned it might slow my weight loss but more concerned to be w/out it due to my irregular/ pretty intense periods so im not sure if its a good idea to stop . Any suggestions or experience w/this? _________________ -160 here I come!!!

| Don't stop the birth control...it is stated in the protocol that it is allowed. _________________ Denise |
