If you have never been on a forum this can all be a bit overwhelming.

I hope this will help a little.

1. First you can simply read any of the threads by clicking on the title of that thread from the Home page.

2. If you want to 'reply' to one of the posts, then click on the reply and then type in the message body.

3. If you want to ask a question or start a new thread, then click on New and then type in the message body.

4. If you want to add the emoticons (smiley guys) just click on one of them and they will be added to your post :what!:

5. You can pm (private message) someone by going to your messages at the top of the home page.

6. You can learn how to add tickers and pictures by going to the Resources section of the Home Page.

7. We highly recommend that you start a Journal which can be found in the section called Success Stories. We want to share in your success and cheer you on!


I'm sure that I'll think of more as time goes on, but I hope this helps you get started.

Hi michelle, welcome

Just a tip when using the emoticons. When you click on one, it put spaces before and after the text (called "html code") in your message. Leave those spaces there or the picture will not show when you post. All you will see is the html code for the picture.

I have gone over the home page and do not see a Resources page. Can you tell me where that is? I want to post a picture under my name and then post my before and during pics...thank you.

Resources is a section on the home page...it is one of the Headings and is in the plaid...

Some of the headings are:

Newbies Start Here
Success Stories
HCG Summaries
(many more)

Thank you for the hint that resources page is in the plaid, however, the resources page is only resources for the diet nothing in there for posting pictures. Any hints on how to post pictures????

That would be under "Ask for Advise" - "Technical Help". We have been around for so long we sometimes forget where things are and have to go in to look for them, too

You need an account like www.photobucket.com or www.servimg.com

Posting the picture under your name can be done in your profile...it is called an Avatar.

Messages: Just in case you didn't know...you have your own mailbox. If you look at the home page, close to the top you have a strip that has 'Messages' in it. If it is blinking then you have a message and you can just click on "messages" and then it will take you to your mailbox. :flower:
