I'm not a "normal" cycle by any means. I know it's because of my weight because whenever I lose some pounds, I start af. The problem for me is I haven't had one in a few months, and I'm so worried that as soon as I start the protocol I'm going to start and then have to stop right away. Somewhere I read that after 20 days it's okay for an interruption, but this would most likely be sooner! And, I know we're supposed to start right after af, but who knows if she'd come without dieting (my last af had to be forced by my gyno)! This is all of course hypothetical at this point...but what would I do? Anyone have the same thing happen to them?.

I would think you would just stop the hcg when you notice you start and then when it is over you start the hcg again.

i am also irregular...4 weeks, 2 weeks, 7 weeks..there is no rhyme or reason anymore...they label it as "peri" menopause...so when i actually saw a twinge i stopped taking the injections..2 twinge days and now a much better flow...so, today no shot either, not hungry and we shall see how this turns out! p.s. hope you don't mind the verbage.. :greet 2:

Thanks for the explanation.

I talked with a clinic about this very thing....she told me to stop injections for the first three days only....they've been following the dr Simeons protocol for 36 years.

I took the shots while TOM came and I felt like death doo doo. I was so nauseated I thought I might hurl in my mouth. No more TOM and hCG
