| Hey guys. I am a little late with my period by just a couple of days. Could hcg possible cause me to not have a period. Because the abscence of hcg in the body is what causes the body to shed the lining. I never read anything about not having a period and am very afraid I may be pregnant even thought I have been taken precautions. I know a pregnancy test may give me the wrong result. So my main question is could this cause me not have a period? _________________

| I'm not the expert on menses and hcg.. (menopausal and it caused me to HAVE a period after a year of none.) So... I'm gonna say the answer to your question, is likely no.
Recheck the calander, and be calm. Sometimes we're 'off' a bit. _________________ CLICK HERE For My P2R6 Stats!

| hey, try not to worry, my last cycle while i was on hcg was 14 days late. i'm not at risk of pregnancy, so i hardly pay attention, but i do write it down, and i really appreciate getting to do the injections for more consecutive days. the cycle before that was one week early. i'm not usually like clock work, but even when in phase 3 or 4, i'm still off because of all the hormonal changing. my 23yo daughter is having the same thing, even seeming to skip a period, then having one two weeks after the other. kooky, right? she also has to consider pregnancy, but a period is a good sign when you're worrying... i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.... _________________ deanna,

| When we are pregnant, our body gets flooded with around 30,000 iu of hcg. So the minuscule amount that you are taking daily should not give you a false positive when doing a pregnancy test. So if you're really concerned, take a test. I hope that this helps. _________________

| We have so many people who have had issues with TOM while on the protocol. I don't know if the changes are due to the hcg or to the rapid weight loss We've had some who were really late; some who stayed on TOM for much longer than normal; some who had TOM more than once; some who didn't get their TOM for a month or two...so... I dont' know, but we've had a lot of issues... _________________ Denise

| Well this makes me feel a little better. I know that Simmeons wrote that weight loss would stop immediately if you were to be pregnant and that wasn't the case so hopefully I am not pregnant. I only have 2 more weeks of injections so if nothing happens by then, I will take a pregnancy test a few days after my last injection to be sure. Thank you all for all your support. I'll let you know if I'm knocked up or not! _________________

| Mine was late and I'm usually early every month. And I felt BAD, weird feeling actually w/a headache the first couple of days. I wasn't craving food either like normal, but I was holding fluid. I didn't stop my doses, but that's your choice.
Good luck!

| Just wanted to let everyone know that TOM came to stay for a while last night! I've never been more happy to see him. I ended up being a week late but as long as he comes I don't care. I was worried but I knew that I didn't really 'feel' pregnant. Thanks to all of you for making me feel better knowing that lots of women have had this trouble. _________________
