| | I am afraid to start the Hcg protocol. I work a 12 hour + shift on the weekend that requires lots of energy 1. I need lots of caffeine to help with the adjustment in the shift, which you cannot have. Is there a tea I can drink that would help with energy? I also here people stating they are extremely fatigued after a little exercise? My job requires me to literally walk or run continuously as well as bend, reach and lift heavy boxes. Is there anyone here that does exercise heavily? Or have ran into problems of fatigue? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you. I would like to get started soon-but am scared. I have to make a production rate at work and am afraid this protocol will effect it. I would hate to put money into something that I would have to quit. thank you! |

| First, I assume you have 1 - 12 hour shift on 1 of the weekend days. Is this correct? What about the rest of the week? Do you work then or stay at home (and work :wink 4: )?
Your first week on hcg MAY cause you to feel fatigued because of body adjustment to hcg and low calories as well as detox.
Without knowing more, I have a couple of suggestions: 1 - Begin phase 2 a day or two before this intense shift. You will have to gorge those first 2 days, so you would need to have lots of high calorie, high fat things to eat all day long as you work (or make this intense work day, day 3 and your first low calorie day - you should be FINE on that day). By the time the next weekend comes around any fatigue should hopefully be gone and you will have a better idea how you feel. 2 - Plan to take a sick day if you are feeling tired after the first week. By the second weekend you should be fine and ready to work.
All the best with your planning. And WELCOME to the forum!! :welcome 2: _________________

| Here... I keep putting this on here?? :):):)
IF you are USED to whatever exercise you are doing.. fine.. it's not a problem..it's just some sort of exertion that you are NOT used to that seems to be at issue. Here's what Dr. Simeon's said:
We encourage swimming and sun bathing during treatment. A game of tennis, a vigorous swim, a run, a ride on horseback or a round of golf do not have this effect; but a long trek, a day of skiing, rowing or cycling or dancing into the small hours usually result in a gain of weight on the following day, unless the patient is in perfect training. In patients coming from abroad, where they always use their cars, we often see this effect after a strenuous day of shopping on foot, sightseeing and visits to galleries and museums. Though the extra muscular effort involved does consume some additional calories, this appears to be offset by the retention of water which the tired circulation cannot at once eliminate. _________________ CLICK HERE For My P2R6 Stats!

| | I work usually a 10 hour shift but i do 12 hours when we are busy. I also carry 50 lb cases of butter, sugar, chocolate etc...i had NO problem at all. In fact when i came home i still had a ton of energy. I was starting to drive myself crazy. I cleaned out closets and did all thise things i am usually tooooo tired to do. I even made my hubby homemade ice cream. I wouldn't think you should have a problem at all. In fact i woke up in the AM WIDE awake. Also you can have organic coffee if you think you need it. I think you can have as much as you want like the tea but check that part to be sure. |

| | I work Friday- Saturday-and Sunday. I work until the shift is done; atleast 12 + hours. I can easily get in 40 hrs in three days. It is impossible to get a day off at my work. It must be months in advance. I also carry 50 + lbs. So from everyone's replies... I am getting that I should be ok since I have been doing this for over 2 years and it is part of my regular schedule? Weight gain would be caused by an extreme activity that is out of my norm? When I read this protocol I get a little confused at times. I have had the same schedule weekdays and weekends for a few years. i should be all right?? (Benz-i do similar to what you do i believe-i work in the freezer though-so I carry turkey's and things like that). Thank you for everything everyone! |

| I work with Benz. I dont lift the large cases at a time (occasionally 25-30 nut boxes), however, I lift 15lb tubs of raw product non continually to dump into our fire cooker when making fudge. I run probably: 200 - 300 lb on normal day 500 lb on busier day up to 700 lb on a busy day
I lift that 3 times so i never lift under 600-900 lb on a normal day. I'm also 57 years old. With the hcg you do seem to have more energy...that is one side effect i loved. Also I slept better at night and woke more wide awake as Benz said. No groggy morning for me during that time. When a truck comes in benz can lift sometimes over 1000 lb of cases of chocolate to the pallet! _________________ GT gram
