| My hubby decided to do the protocal along with me and we just started P2. He says he feels like he is always on the verge of muscle cramps, especially in his biceps. We have not been exercising or doing anything strenuous. I don't need for him to have another excuse not to do the dishes! What causes this and is there some sort of supplement he can take? _________________ "The most wasted day of all is one in which we have not laughed." R1P2:

| Well, it's a good excuse!! Ha-ha, the best thing I have found is taking a good multi-mineral supplement. Potassium and Magnesium are both very helpful with muscle cramps. |

| Be sure to add a little calcium and even some B-complex if you can. _________________

| gsmitty is right,
i'm taking a load of calcium for the muscle cramp thing, works like a charm, and i get reminded real quick if i forget any evening. i take the whole full day requirement of 1200, they say to break it up so i take half at lunch and half before bed, it also knocks me out... so don't drive after that..... _________________ deanna,

| There is a suppliment called Ionic Fizz - it's bitter as heck, but I have an herbalist friend that takes it daily and swears by it. It has calcium, and mag. plus some other 'stuff' in it. I hate the taste, so I put it in a tiny amount of water and toss it back like a shot...my friend puts a scoop in a quart, chills it and sips it over a few hours. Whatever - it does great for cramps! I typically get leg cramps and really bad monthly cramps, and don't anymore - now that I'm drinking this stuff. You might ask at the health food store about it. _________________

| Hi there! I use a product called Natural Calm. Its a powder mix (same as ionic fizz-Ive used that one as well) I prefer Calm because they use stevia to sweeten it. Its doesnt create a sweet beverage it just balances out the bitterness. They make a few different flavors, I like the raspberry-lemon and the sweet lemon. (again they aren't overly sweet) also you can use a 1/2 tsp in a glass of water and you're set. A 16oz container lasts a while. I'll include their website link so you can check it out- I hope this helps you
