| This sounds kinda odd...but when I do phase 2 the skin on the back/top of my hands gets really red and extremely dry. When I did Phase 2 the first time, I thought it happened because I wasn't using lotion at all...but I never use lotion anyway. Then on Phases 3 & 4 my skin went back to normal. I just started my second round of Phase 2 and my hands are hot and red again. Its not cute, but it isn't the worst thing in the world. Has this happened to anyone? _________________

| When you are on p2 there is a lot of cleansing going on. Most of the toxins in your body, from years of eating them, are stored in your fat. When the fat is used, the toxins are released back into your system. Everyone has different symptoms of these toxins in the body, from practically nothing, to major virus-like sickness. I get patches of eczema different places. Yours may be red rashes on the back of your hands. This would be my guess. As long as it goes away, can you tolerate it in order to lose the weight? _________________

| That makes sense. I've actually started to use lotion on them, and they've improved a lot. I know a lot of people don't use lotions during Phase 2, but I'm giving it a shot and hoping it won't affect my weight loss! _________________

| The my hands have become very dry as well - to the point that they hurt. I assumed it was from washing them so many time a day (seems I go #1 every 30 minutes ) - but the tops of them are not only dry, they are flaky - let me know about the lotion. I purchased some without any of the "no" list items, but have been affraid to use it. _________________ [

| I didn't use any lotions or conditioners or anything during my first round. Then I learned that with today's formulas, they are OK. I've used them ever since with no problem. Give it a try and see it you keep losing OK. _________________
