| I was enjoying the 1st bit of nice weather that we have had in a long time here in Oregon this weekend and over did it. I was very careful to not use sun block ect - but am paying for it with a very painful sun burn. I thought about putting vinagar on the burn ...but is that just a myth that it works? Does anyone have any suggestions to treat the burn?
Also - I made sure to drink lots of water, but have gained 1lb? Can this be from water retention caused by the sun burn?
Has anyone else experienced this? _________________ [

| Yes, the pound is definitely water retention. I have heard that vinegar is good but I always have aloe vera on hand it is the best thing for a sunburn. Try to make sure you drink plenty of water and treat the burn with vinegar and/or aloe vera and take it easy. |

| Thank you. I did go and purchase some Aloe Vera from Walmart - but it has other junk in it as well. So I think I am going to drink extra water and use the vinegar - if I absolutely cant stand it, I will use the Aloe. _________________ [

| We do not have a Whole Foods near where I am. We have a co-op that is as close to a Whole Foods as they come.... I will try there. Thank You _________________ [

| I don't know about in the NW but here in Florida it is pretty easy to grow an aloe plant. I have one on my back porch so it doesn't even get any sun and it is fine. Just a thought. Won't help much today though :(
