| Not sure about this but I have no choice, I work extremely hard at my job(s) and was wondering about this very issue. I have 3 jobs and it's back breaking hard work.
Anyone else work a really Physical job and doing phase 2? |

| | Hi Cdwater, I think if you have always done strenous exercise, then it won't be a problem. It's just for those people that do exercise more than they usually do, it will cause you to retain water. Since you already do work strenously your body will be accustomed to it and will not have a problem. |

| | Any exercise is good. The point is that if you haven't exercised much at all and you start exercising now, expect that you will see a slight gain due to water retention. As long as you are aware of this and it isn't an issue, then it's fine. Exercise is one of the best things we can do for our health and fitness. |

| Hey Renee, keep in mind that you may also experience fatigue because we're only taking in 500 cal. Let us know how your body is handling the class. I like to learn from other people's experiences. _________________

| That is a popular misnomer. We are only EATING 500 calories, but our body is burning up the fat we have stored. You may notice a difference when you first start, but your body will adjust and you should be fine. _________________

| Thanks sofar...You're right, I am used to hard work.
I know I burn a few hundred cals at work, but I always eat dinner after work at night and a little goodie lol. Not being able to do that on ph2 had me wondering. My husband was concerned too.
Plus since I sweat b/c of the hard work, I will have to use Poweraid Zero. I have to replace electrolytes. At least it has 0 cals,it will be better for me than just water.
My Doctor told me years and years ago when I was pregnant that I could do just about anything that I was used to doing because my body was condition to it, even horseback riding. It's doing new things that maybe we need to use more caution. |
