| I wondered what people's experience has been with weight training and cardio, aerobic exercise? My Dr. has discouraged it. I have been working out 4 - 5 days a week for the last 8 months and I miss it more than food. Katherine |

| If you did it before, keep doing it! maybe cut it down a notch but if your body is already used to it, it shouldn't cause any fluctuation in your losses. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/hottnspicky |

I agree. If you did it before you can keep doing it. If you find yourself tired just cut it back._________________ My Pics! Goal is 120. |

| Absolutely! You just don't want to start something new and stressful if at all possible while you are on p2. |

| I teach group exercise at a local club. I can manage the weight lifting and yoga, but the cardio classes are hard for me. I'm finding that after I work out, I don't loose the next day. In fact I gain! I'm burning around 800+ calories when I work out mostly due to the fact that I'm teaching and exerting myself more than I would if I were just a participant. That being said, does anyone know if this might be a reason for a stall in my weightloss? I'm on R2P2, 20 days in and only lost 11 lbs. |

| I've had the same experience. When I've exercised, I've had no weight loss the next day. I was really surprised. But then 2 days after, I lost a pound each time. So I think I'm going to hold off on any further exercise until after P2. |

| My doctor said light cardio only. Weights interfere with ketosis. |

| I had the same experience. Normally, I do cardio, weights, and yoga; I mix it up about an hour aday. My doctor said not to exercise when on phase 2. I tried it a couple of times and everytime either maintained or gained. I also felt so hungry I wanted to eat a horse! I just avoid it now. [code] |

| In my experience, I have consistently lost an extra .20 pounds each time I exercise but only if I drink a ridiculous amount of water. I have been following the divide your weight in two to get your total number of ounces and than adding to that an extra quart/liter of water for each workout session (45 minute moderate intensity elliptical training) followed by another additional quart/liter an hour or two later. In the two cases where I skipped that step and sipped water only during the workout and relied on my 90 ounces a day formula, I stalled and lost nothing the following day.
