Hi just started with drops and i am not sure i have this thing down. I put the drops under my tongue and am having trouble counting. sometimes i think a drop went in but didnt. Also it is very hard to hold these things under my tongue. Someone posted 5 minutes to hold, someome 15 minutes to hold., I can just about do the five minutes. any thoughts. thanks vickie

Hi Vicki, It's best to do the drops in front of a mirror so you can count the drops. Just hold them under your tongue as long as possible. No less than a minute .....I usually average 4 to 5 minutes. Good luck

Glad you're here! I'm not doing drops, but did for a few weeks. Susanne is right, gotta do 'em with a mirror around. The drops usually absorbed into my mouth within a minute.

As for an extra (third) gourge day, I would say... go moderate. Do not do full load. Maybe eat about 700-1000 cals tomorrow. I always used the third day as a transition day. I ate P2 foods, but three meals instead of two. This may help you with the hungries on the fourth day.

The drops really only need to be held under the tongue for 15 to 30 seconds, but I keep them there until they are gone and like the others say it is usually no more than a minute. Try not to eat anything for 20 to 30 minutes after you use them. In order to get it accurate, you really do need to use a mirror. If I don't have a mirror, I do them very slowly and drop them in different spots under my tongue, so that I feel the drop hit, that way you can get it pretty accurate.

When I ordered my kit, they included an insulin syringe without the needle. I load it up to the .4 mark which is 10 drops and just squeeze it right under my tongue. Hold it till its almost all gone. For me this never lasts more than about one minute.

It would drive me bonkers to have to stand in front of a mirror, so I am really glad I got the syringe with it.

When you all talk about drops, are you talking about the homeopathic or the "real" thing. How can you possibly know what the accurate dosage of a "drop" is? I take .5 cc, but I don't know how many drops that would be. Just trying to understand all this lingo...

I count my drops into a plastic spoon and dump them under my tongue.The drops don't seem to stick to a plastic spoon. Does anyone else do this? It works for me. I use homeopathic drops. I try to hold them as long as I can which is usually a minute or so. Then my mouth starts to water and I have to swallow.

Homeopathic is hhcg. It can be measured my units/ml.

You can always experiment with plain water and count the drops and then use a syringe to draw up into the chamber and see were the measurement is.
