I heard that no birth control medication can be used while on hcg, is this acurate?

The clinic I go to said the pill is fine while on the protocol, but I'm not sure what others believe or what the original protocol says.

Dr. Simeons says in the manuscript that the HCG diet should not affect your birth control pills and your birth control pills do not affect your weight loss while on the HCG diet.

There dose not seems to be enough research about the new forms of birth control (birth control injection, nuva ring, vaginal ring, etc.) used with the HCG diet to give a definitive answer for the how the newer types of birth control will affect you rate of loss. Or the other way around!

Over the time I've been doing and researching hcg, I've seen most people continue using all medications and supplements and such that they were using before going on the diet. The only time I've ever seen any issue was with thyroid. That isn't a medication problem, but the thyroid causing a bit of trouble with the diet.
