| I hate this wearing gloves to wash dishes. What do you use or do you think it doesn't matter? Also, I use ivory soap with showering. What about soft soap? I like using it in the kitchen. Is it OK? TIA |

| I haven't changed anything in regards to dish soap or hand soap. I either use the dishwasher or I use a long handled brush to wash dishes - not because of the diet, but because I always have. I'm fairly certain that Ivory is an okay bath soap, as is Zest, which is what I've used for 25 years, so I was glad to see that on an approved list somewhere. |

| I haven't changed hand soaps or dish soaps, either, we do wash dishes by hand. Just an eccentricity of mine.
I think the only time you have to wear gloves is if you are going to be handling lots of fatty substances (e.g., cutting up several whole chickens). |

| I have not changed my "washing" habits either. But, here are my observations: doing dishes dry out your hands, especially if you do alot of dishes (with hot water) and 3x's or more daily. This will dry out your hands even more. Hcg dries out your skin too, of natural oils. So, I am sure using rubber gloves while washing would be a great way to keep your hands from getting overly dry. I have used them on occasion. It does take some gettin' used to. As for body soap, I use all natural soaps like Zum Bar by Indigo Wild, found at Whole Foods, or on line. I also have use soap from www.bodydeli.com. these are made from natural ingredients. But, if you like the commercial soaps, continue using them.
