It's getting cooler and I am so craving the soups and stews I love in the Fall. Been addicted to chicken-cabbage soup but researching more recipes. Most use a variety of P2 allowable veggies, but I was under the impression we could just pick one. Any adverse reactions from mixing? Sure would be nice for variety....

I mix my veggies all the time, I think you get to a point of needing to. Everyone is different, I personally sip on veggie broth when i can't stand eating any more salad and I haven't seen it some back to haunt me but I make sure that it is the NO sodium broth. I would just play with it, some people can and some can't. But I know a cup of hot soup can curb my hunger for almost a whole day.

I made this today for lunch - and after reading your post I though it would work for soup. I put my chicken, cucumber, apple, and water together in my magic bullet. Instant soup. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't think about making it into soup so I ate it with a spoon. I added too much water for what I was trying to do. IT WAS THE WORST LUNCH I HAVE EVERY HAD IN MY LIFE. BUT, if I would have warmed it up for soup - it would have been very tasty. Didn't think of that until I read your post.

KellyAnne: I think we all have a meal that we have made that is so horrible; but, we eat it anyway. One time I was learning to use my new george foreman grill. I totally fried (and I don't mean the yummy fried) my fish to the grill. Half was good - half was so dried out and crusty.... So I scraped off the crusty dried out fish and put it on top of the good cooked fish, ate it and fantasized that it was breaded fried fish. NOT REALLY. But food doesn't mean anything to me anymore right now, R1P2D38. I just do my protocol and go about my day\night as normal - what ever normal is.
