I DO mix veggies and add extra protein. The days I don't are the days where I generally gain. THere are two days where I snuck something I shouldn't so I knew I'd have a gain. But, I have followed this pattern on every diet out there. I'd just love to find someone else who does too. Here's an example of my diet:
B: Orange, coffee with truvia
L: Mixed greens with 3.5 oz chicken ACV, mustard, stevia dressing
D: Shrimp, Kale with ACV, Bragg's, and garlic
B: Apple, coffee with Truvia
L: Shrimp and veggie stir fry (bok choy, asparagus, onion, red cabbage)
D: Chicken, 2 Hot natural pickles (it's cucumbers, no additives, no sugar and spices-10 calories for both)
B: Egg with egg whites/ Coffee with Truvia
L: P2 Chili
Snack: strawberries
Dinner: Asparagus and another egg (I know eggs aren't on protocol:)
I've also read that Truvia isn't supposed to be on protocol but many use it and are fine. Im happy with my results just more curious if there's anyone else who jumps up and down but is on an obvious downward path
