| Hi everyone!
Im new at this. Been stalking for about a week and a half. Started HCG drops (sorry I dont know all the tech terms) on Sunday Feb 6th. The next day I got a pretty bad cold...but kept going just to see...and I have lost 13.2 lbs. Bare in mind, im still holding my breath to see.
Anyhoo....I was wondering if Imitation Crab made from Pollock is allowed. Im not the biggest meat eater...forcing it down because I know that I have to.
Thanks for reading!!

| Janice, I've had no problems losing with the imitation crab (only had it a couple of times) but some do. It's NOT on the original protocol but, it couldn't hurt to experiment and see if it works for YOU I think I get shunned on here for encouraging experimentation but, most of us know that nothing works for EVERYONE! Finally, I don't like meat much either but have also been packing it in for this diet. I found something that works for me... 1 Hard boiled egg, a teaspoon or 2 of low-fat cottage cheese, 1 tsp. mustard. It's like a deviled egg!!! It's satisfying too. _________________ April<3 ROUND 4 JOURNALCorrection does much, but encouragement does more. | April, no shunning from me! I totally believe in experimenting. A lot has been learned since Dr. Simeons wrote his original manuscript, and I think some things will work today that he didn't know about in the early 1960s. A lot of people are die-hard, by the book Simeons followers, but will actually eat, for example, canned tuna on occasion with no problem. So if imitation crab works for someone, I really see no difference. For the most part, I stuck to the original manuscript, but I did mix veggies - I ate lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers together - with no problem at all...never a gain and actually lost just fine. I ate meat in restaurants - with just a swab with napkins to soak up a little of whatever was on top - and I always had the onions and bell peppers when I had the chicken breast in Mexican restaurants. I did, of course, always eliminate the cheese. We all have different bodies, and those bodies react differently to foods. If you learn to know and listen to your body, it will let you know what it can and cannot take. |

| No, Janice I wasn't speaking of you. Just in general, on a couple forums, I feel that people don't respond well to my experimentation recommendation Especially when people are first starting. Oh NO! I just totally realized...I responded to this thread and used your name?! Oh geez, no wonder you thought I was talking to you. I thought you were the one who posted the question. Looks like I wasn't really paying attention. I had to scroll down to realize that. Many apologies. So, Kellar, to you...I've had no problems. Wow, no wonder I'm being 'shunned'! _________________ April<3 ROUND 4 JOURNALCorrection does much, but encouragement does more.
