| Glad you a feeling a little better.
On Dr. Oz he talked about Green Tea Ice Cream that is good for you.
Living on liquid protein shakes is paradise. I can't wait for wait to make mine again w/ 1/2 unsweetened almond milk & 1/2 water. That is what I hate the most on P2 my milky JR shakes.
Good Luck w/ having energy at work today. |

| Praying that the day goes well for you on your first day back at work Wendy! Slow and steady on the healing. We don't want any complications at this stage of the game. |

| Did OK yesterday at work. Glad when 4pm rolled around. I was feeling very tired.
Slept a little better last night. Still wake up in 1.5-2 hour intervals, due to being thirsty and/or needing to change positions. It's been 5 months since I was able to sleep thru the night.
Deb, while I have been convalescing at the hospital and at home, I watched Dr Oz and The Doctors. I saw Dr Oz show about the green tea ice cream. Sounds horrible, but when I saw the girl eat some, her facial expressions were suprisingly positive about it. I am not a fan of green tea. In fact, I am not really an ice cream person. Unless, it is custard style ice cream - then, you have hit my weakness! Culvers ice cream is a cheap version. In Milwaukee, WI, there is a company called Kopps ~ now they make the BEST custard ice cream. So good, it will harden your arteries! I usually have some about once every two years.
I go back to the Dr office Thurs and hopefully the pathology report will be concluded and I get favorable results!
OK, off to eat b'fast and get ready for work - somebody's got to keep this roof over my head! |

| Thank you for the B'day wishes! Hope you both had nice days too! Unfortunately, I am now down with a cold. I am at work and I blame my boss for giving me his nasty cold! It's not making my throat feel any better.
Still on FFP, only today may be less - don't feel like eating. But, I got my cran-water and regular water and I am happy with that.
I had a wonderful time with my father at Allgauers for dinner. I ordered a shrimp/scallop on a skewer plate with hericot verts, green peppers, baby carrots and asparagus with a side salad. Nice FFP type dinner. Dad gave me two cards and a gift certificate for Carson's. We left and went home.
The next morning I noticed I did not have my cards in my purse. OMGoodness! I searched my car! Not there! I called Allgauers last night to find that I dropped my cards when I left. Glad my gift certificate was still in the cards! So, I drove 35 miles - round trip to get my $100 gift certificate! I don't think I am gonna tell dad about this just yet.

| Feeling better now. Been off work for two days.
In the meantime, I have started the Smoothie Shakedown program by ALG. So far I am loving this! The protein shakes she recommends for this program is all plant based proteins, from yellow pea protein, brown rice protein, vanilla bean extract, gar gum, inulin and stevia. It's not as smooth as JR shakes, but, it does seem to hold me longer, than JR shakes.
I am also taking her supplements, but will look to find them elsewhere for less cost.
I drink (2) shakes as a replacement for (2) meals. Then I eat one meal with protein, veggies and/or salad. If I get hungry inbetween meals, of course, veggies are permitted and/or up to (2) HB eggs.
In two days, I have lost 3.4 pounds! I am truely motivated my this! Not hungry and have more energy!
I will be adding dandelion tea to my regimine. This will also be good for my liver.
So, onward I go! |
